Many lacquer wares and turban shells for ornamented hairpins were exported to China.In the 16th century, it is said that the minute patterns were so sensitive that their Japanese crafting teqnique was higher than that of Chinese.This chopstick is lacquered after the Ezo craftman finished with sculpting the case. |

◎collaborated with Ichiro Ishikawa of Hamamatsuya Hakone-craft's origin is in the early Heian period, and was recognized as a traditional craft work in May, 1984.It's technique was devised by Niuemon Ishikawa in Hakone-city.The 7th generation, Ichiro Ishikawa inherited it and finished the Mukuyosegizaiku, then Ezo craftsman completed it. |

Mokuzougan is a technique to fit two different woods into one picture after cutting them one above the other according to the sketch.After the Ezo craftsman sculpted the case, it was supervised by the mokuzougan master Sadatsugu Uchida of Odawara city and was completed by the Yumekoubou Inc.The picture represents the god of wind and the god of thunder. |
